Beskrivelse
The altar of the deceased Barga shamaness, collected by Haslund in Chahar 1939, came along with a ger. The altar consists of a low table with a wooden box placed on top; it is surrounded to the right by the shamaness’ magical equipment of drum, horsesticks and stirrups. On both sides are masks and bags with ongon, shamanic power from the shamaness herself and from her ancestors, formed as small felt dolls in felt bags and an additional old leather bag of mystical contents to the left.
