Violin, Mongolia
The horse-head violin, named morin khuur, or khil khuur, as Haslund named it, was also obtained in November 1938 in Chahar. A fine matching bow was obtained. The collection holds two other horse-head violins, also from Chahar and Chahar Aduchin.
