In the Barga shaman tent, erected in the museum’s festive hall, the young anthropologists at the museum were engaged as actors in Haslund’s “Mongolian Evening” when a shamanic séance was dramatically performed. The Barga shaman was Johannes Nicolaisen (to the left) with Martha Boyer (to the right) and Halfdan Siiger seated in the middle.
