Barga shaman tent in the National Museum of Denmark’s festive hall
In the Barga shaman tent, erected in the museum’s festive hall, the young anthropologists at the museum were engaged as actors in Haslund’s “Mongolian Evening” when a shamanic séance was dramatically performed. The Barga shaman was Johannes Nicolaisen (to the left) with Martha Boyer (to the right) and Halfdan Siiger seated in the middle.
