Beskrivelse
“One day”, Grønbech wrote in his diary on 1 November, “Haslund came home with a load of musical instruments and later that day their Mongol guests played the instruments and sang their lovely Chahar songs”. From the left a yadugan, and behind the same, in the middle a horse-head fiddle, khiil khuur, with the bridge tightened with a knife; to the right a flute and on the ground, a banjo or shandze. Photo: Kaare Grønbech, 1938.
