Beskrivelse
Greek terracotta figruine portraying a woman. She is holding a piglet in both hands, resting on her left arm. There are remains of white cover paint, and red-brown paint on her hair. The figurine is fragmented, and broken at the waist. It is preserved to a height of 7.5 cm. It was found in the sanctuary of Athana Lindia on Rhodes, and most likely dedicated as a votive offering to the goddess. 3D Model based on photogrammetry. The background shows a reconstruction of the Archaic Athana Lindia sanctuary in Lindos on Rhodes. The figurine is published in: C. Blinkenberg 1931. Lindos: Fouilles de l’Acropole 1902-1914 I, Les Petits Objects. Berlin: Walter de Gruyter & Co. P. 712 no. 3035.
