Greek terracotta of seated woman with tympanon - 3D model
Greek terracotta figurine portraying a woman seated on a rounded block with a foot rest, holding a large tympanon in her lap. She is wearing a long chiton and a himation that covers the back of her head, and falls down in front of her knees, and a headband. White cover paint is preserved, as well as pink on the block and red lines on her left wrist, indicating bracelets.
The figurine has a height of 11.6 cm.
It was found in The Large Deposit in the sanctuary in Lindos, and was most likely dedicated as a votive offering to the goddess.
