The figurine or amulet portrays the Egyptian lion-goddess Sakhmet and is made of Egyptian faience. It has a height of 4.7 cm. It was found in the Archaic Layers in connection with the grand Archaic stairs in the Athana Lindia sanctuary on Rhodes, and was most likely dedicated as a votive offering to the goddess.
