Six terracotta figurines from Cyprus are what remains of an original quadriga with four men in the chariot. The horses are now reduced to a black-painted stallion and a red-painted mare. The horses wear harnesses decorated with tassels, and with holes for feather plumes on the heads. The men all wear pointed hats with ear flaps. Two of them are bearded men and two of them are youngsters. All of the figurines have well-preserved paint, primarily in red and black. Despite their fragmented state, the figurines all display a great many details to enjoy. They were found in the Archaic Layers in connection with the grand Archaic stairs in the Athana Lindia sanctuary in Lindos on Rhodes. They were most likely dedicated as a votive offering to the goddess.
The stallion has a length of 15.1 cm, and the best-preserved male figure has a height of 13.2 cm.
