Beskrivelse
No. 21 (Inventory no. 3191/OA VIIb 38). Corroded and fragmentarily preserved triangular dagger. The incised upper termination is partly preserved, the point broken. The blade is decorated with raised longitudinal zones with three raised lines in each zone. Slightly raised, oval midrib. L 14.4 cm. Max. W 3.8 cm Provenance: Amorgos. Bought from Rhousopoulos 1873 (mentioned by R. Christensen). Published: Worsaae 1879, 343, Fig. 10, 346. Worsaae 1881, 233 and Fig. 11. Branigan 1974, catalogue no. 195 (7). Comments: Branigan 1974, 11, “Long Daggers” Tp. X. DATING: The Cretan type is dated to EM/MM.
